I love questions like this because it helps us step out of our comfort zone and envision our lives unchained. If you had no responsibilities to anyone but yourself, what would you spend your time doing? Would love to hear how everyone else would spend their days… for me, my days would look something like this:

    • Wake up and make coffee
    • Drink coffee while doing the following:
      • Read for an hour
      • Do yoga for an hour
      • Meditate for an hour
      • Write for an hour
    • Prepare and eat a healthy lunch
    • Complete necessary household chores
    • Run community afterschool program
    • Participate in social activities and events
    • Prepare and eat a healthy dinner
    • Get lots of sleep!!

Love this. For whatever reason, I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently… even in my free time, it often feels like I’m in recovery mode from work and often don’t have the energy to do what I’d REALLY like to be doing.

With that being said, even if I didn’t have to work, I would still want to teach! But ideally one class at a time, and on esoteric topics of my choosing, haha. Like you, I would love to spend more time cooking and reading. I would also like to garden – maybe even to the extent of a small-scale farm? I occasionally help out at a local cafe and have often daydreamed of supplying them with baked goods, homemade soda syrups and tea blends, etc.

If I’m being honest I would also play a fair amount of video games 😂

Yes!! All of this sounds amazing! We’ve got some cool plans up here to create a getaway so people can come here and reset… our lives can get so hectic, it’s good to step back and reassess where you are and where you want to be! I’m glad you’re here!

Wake up to the pets or the light, instead of the alarm

    Stretch and exercise

    Spend time playing video games

    Conduct some training online

    Eat and nap

Spend time with pets and family

    Read before bed

    Go to sleep early

Sounds heavenly!! What games are you into? I’ve been playing Horizon Zero Dawn for a few months, but haven’t made it that far because life always comes ‘a knocking… I would really like to find some more “me time” in my week to play!
