The first course in the Cruising with BABS (CWB) 2020 series is all about applying the science of behavior and learning to improve your personal life.

The three books which provided the basis of this course are:

(3) Flip the Script (FTS)

The course will teach you about:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Simple Behavioral Improvements
  • Strategic Personal Planning
  • Related Ethical Obligations
  • Diagnostic Feedback

In this 9-week course, you will learn a set of skills related to improving your personal life and earn 18 Type-2 “Learning” CEUs (12 general, 3 ethics, and 3 supervision). The skills are drawn from the work of Steven C. Hayes (A Liberated Mind; Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life), and Coyte Cooper (Flip the Script), and you will learn how to systematically apply the lessons you learn to accomplish your personal goals, in the service of your values, on the path toward your dream life.

The activities embedded within the lessons are designed to be completed during and between lessons, there is nothing you need to do to prepare for the course. If you would like to read along with the lessons, you’re welcome to purchase the books for your own collection. This is not a requirement of the course, but maybe worth your while as although the course is based on the chapters listed, it is not an in-depth review of the books.
