Rethinking Burnout and Maintaining Life Balance

Abby Twyman · January 8, 2020

The world is full of stressors that lead to feeling burnt out, overworked, and undervalued. Have you lost sight of your purpose? Learn how to course correct and take your life and career up a notch! The second course in the CWB 2020 series is all about applying the science of behavior and learning to improve your work life. This course specifically focuses on Cognitive Biases and how they impact your functioning in your personal and professional life.

The book on which this course is based is:

(1) Never Go With Your Gut

This course will teach information and skills related to:

  • Cognitive Biases
  • Simple Behavioral Improvements
  • Strategic Professional Planning

In this 3-lesson course, you will learn skills related to improving your work life and earn 3 “Learning” CEUs (general). The skills are drawn from the work of Gleb Tsipursky (Never Go With Your Gut), and you will learn how to systematically apply the lessons you learn to accomplish your professional goals, in the service of your values, along your life path.

The activities embedded within the lessons are designed to be completed between lessons, there is nothing you need to do to prepare for the course. If you would like to read along with the lessons, you can purchase the books for your collection. This is not a requirement of the course but may be worth your while as although the course is based on the chapters listed, it is not an in-depth review of the books.
